Flying Blue is the loyalty program of Air France/KLM. FlyingBlue is a great loyalty program, in part because you can instantly make FlyingBlue Points by transferring your Amex, Citi or Chase credit card points.

In the UK, American Express Rewards convert directly to airline miles. The FREE Amex Gold Card is an incredible deal with a huge free bonus of Membership Rewards. For the UK card, you will need to drop me an email for a link to get extra 2,000 referral bonus points.
Other UK cards worth considering include the UK SPG Card can also be used for Airmiles including Air France/KLM Flying Blue, as well as SPG and Marriott hotel stays. You earn 33,000 points (=11,000 Air France/KLM Flying Blue) if you spend £1,000 in the first 3 months of membership. Our referral gets 3,000 more than the usual 30,000 and you can apply for this and the Gold at the same time as they are unrelated in Amex’s eyes. Other options including Washington DC and Toronto both at 25% off. Via the promo, round trip flights between Vancouver or Seattle and Europe, starting in either direction are a mere 53,000 points. Some dates, you can even find flights for 18,000 points one way.
Find available seats online easily via this link. You must have a FlyingBlue account to search, and then search between SEA or YVR and your European destination of choice. You can start in either direction, and one ways are fine too. In fact, if you want the best pricing, search one way. If you want the round trip, just book two of them.
You can also search Toronto or Washington DC, but the rates won’t be quite as low. Using London as a European starting point or destination seems to offer increased availability…
