Book A Hotel

Singapore Airlines flies out of London Heathrow Terminal 2 as opposed to British Airways, which has a British Airways Exclusive Terminal, Terminal 5.

In Terminal 2, or the Queen’s Terminal, you will find the excellent Singapore Airlines SQ First Class lounge. We experienced this airport lounge before flying to Singapore on Singapore Airlines A380 in their new First Class Suite. You can read all my Singapore Airlines Flight Reviews in First separately.

This compact, rectangular, interior-designed lounge is made up of a sitting and relaxation area with seats that look like SQ’s new Business and First Class seats and a dining area with a small buffet station, several tables, and a self-service wine counter.

Large floor-to-ceiling windows on one side offer a view of Terminal 2A and building work.

Five different menus operate throughout the day. I enjoyed the lounge whilst they were serving a breakfast menu with signature dishes like nasi lemak, fried carrot cake, chicken curry, and Singapore laksa.

It is worth mentioning that we have put together a listing of the best airport lounges at London Heathrow. British Airways Concorde room pips the post for the best lounge, but the Singapore Airlines SilverKris First Class lounge was also excellent and well worth trying if you get the chance.
