American Airlines has been swapping around its international network with new routings to Europe and the termination of some routes.
You can now fly daily from Phoenix directly into London Heathrow, seasonal between 31st March 2019 and 26th October 2019. There are also seasonal daily routes from Dallas to Dublin and Philadelphia to Edinburgh.
These new routes also, of course, offer new opportunities for redemptions of Avios or AAdvantage miles into and out of Heathrow, so if these new routes fit with your plans, book them TODAY (27th August) before the reward seats run out. pencil 27th August into your diary as the date to book your seats.
We are big fans of the American Airlines Business Class offering which is much better than British Airways Business Class seats which we have also reviewed. Both can be booked using Avios.
