Book A Stay

This one comes to you hot off the press! Opening in June 2018, the stunning Little Albion Guest House in Sydney, Australia has recently undergone a very impressive architectural overhaul and is now a stylish accommodation choice that demands your attention.

Location

The location is just as fabulous as the guest house itself. You are just 500m to Central Station in the trendy Surry Hills neighborhood of Sydney. On your doorstep are endless hip bars, buzzing galleries, boutiques, theatres, and restaurants.

Style & Character

The guest house is billed as: “Delightfully intimate, devastatingly gorgeous, genuinely original and refreshingly unpretentious”. Such a tempting phrase definitely warrants a closer look by the modern luxury traveler. The guest house is housed in a restored former convent; a stunning heritage brick building which has been extended with a stylish modern development too. The chic interiors take inspiration from both the 1920s and 1970s.

Service & Facilities

The communal areas at Little Albion are rather special when you head back after a day soaking up the sights and sounds of Sydney, chill in the sunken-lounge room, relax at the fully stocked Honour Bar or enjoy the last few rays of sunshine at the North facing rooftop terrace. There is also a 24-hour reception, a concierge service, a dry cleaning service, Wi-Fi internet, limited offsite parking and it’s pet friendly too!

The staff at Little Albion are instead called your “hosts”, they have all been carefully selected for their love of hospitality and are more than happy to take care of your every whim. The service is akin to a 5-Star hotel just with a much more personal touch so instead, you feel as if you are a guest in the home of a great friend.

Rooms

For your room choose between; Crash Pad, Cosy, Classic, Master, Sweet, and the Big Albion. If it’s a flying visit just you and you want somewhere luxurious and homely to rest your head go for Crash Pad. Upgrade to Cosy if there’s two of you on a romantic break; with soaring ceilings, stunning original windows, and lots of cozy fabrics there’s plenty to create a dreamy atmosphere or there’s the slightly larger and simply elegant Classic Rooms which exude style. The Master Rooms are the highest grade and most luxurious of all the rooms and boast exquisite finishes like Chevron oak floors, Greek marble, or gorgeous handmade Moroccan pink and grey diamond feature tiles. Upgrade to a suite, or very cutely named “Sweet”, for more space, more luxury, and style icons like a stunning statement timber bedhead trimmed in brass. But, for the ultimate stay, discerning visitors will be totally seduced by the rather unique boudoir named the Big Albion. Huge, at a very generous 55m2, it includes a four-poster king-size bed and there’s both a bath and a double shower. Style features include gothic windows and restored heritage archways and the overall impression is that of a classically hedonistic 70’s inspired designer suite.

Food & Drink

You really are spoilt for choice in this area with cool coffee and brunch joints, trendy pubs, wine bars, gourmet restaurants, and edgy dive bars lining the streets; ask your hosts for their recommendations and they’ll be more than happy to oblige.
