Paphos Archaeological Park
For a fascinating day exploring the ancient wonders of Cyprus, Paphos Archaeological Park is located in Kato Paphos and is considered one of the most important archaeological sites on the island. The site, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, contains the major part of the important ancient Greek and Roman City and is still under excavation so on each visit something different has been uncovered. It is perhaps most famous for its eclectic collection of vibrant mosaics contained within five Roman villas based on ancient Greek myths, as well as for several important monuments.
