About Kichaos Tanzania Safaris
Kichaos Tanzania Safaris stand out as safari providers in large part due to their experience. They have been guiding all over East Africa for over 11 years; they make things happen in this amazing continent, their home for over seven generations. They have led tours in over 15 different parks in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Zanzibar and Kilimanjaro; visiting Serengeti, Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Ndutu, Ngorongoro, Lake Nakuru, lake Naivasha, Maasai Mara, Mt Meru, Kilimanjaro and many more.
You can go off the beaten track and go budget camping, or for the more discerning among us, you can stay in a luxury lodge. It’s not even just traditional safaris they can assist you with; if you want to see Africa by air they can take you ballooning, if you want real adventure you can go hiking or even mountaineering, or if you want to add a relaxing beach stay on to the end of your holiday, then you can. It’s a very professional outfit, they have their own customised safari trucks and their own highly skilled guides and do everything they can to ensure you have an amazing experience that you’ll never forget.
The safaris themselves vary from single day trips to 10 day tours and there’s a huge amount of flexibility. One of their most popular safaris is the “5 Days Tarangire – Serengeti and Ngorongoro”. The tour leaves Arusha City and heads to Tarangire National Park giving you magnificent views of the Great Rift Valley wall on the way. When you arrive at the park you meet your first wildlife and enjoy game viewing drives throughout the morning. The park has a very high population density of elephants compared to anywhere in Tanzania, and its sparse vegetation, strewn with baobab and acacia trees, means it’s not only beautiful but also makes it easier to see the gentle giants. Day 2 you drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and on to the Serengeti National Park for more game viewing drives. Day 3 you explore the endless plains of the epic Serengeti National Park which is so famous for the migration when over a million wildebeest and 200,000 zebras head south every October and November and then swirl west and north in April, May and June. You can even add a hot air balloon ride to your safari here to get a really unique viewpoint. Day 4 you return to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descend into the UNESCO Heritage Site Crater for a game viewing drive looking for the “Big Five”: elephants, buffalo, rhino, cheetah and lion. Day 5 you head home taking your unforgettable memories and probably a few photographs too.
