British Airways First Class Transatlantic Award Seats Worth Grabbing Now!

First class seats between the US and Europe are usually quite hard to find, particularly from the West Coast, but we have discovered that you can book First Class from Seattle and Phoenix into London towards the end of the year, for free (+ fees) on miles.

You can find these seats on and although you will still be charged fuel surcharges, you can actually snag a First Class transatlantic seat right into London with British Airways.

We have reviewed First Class on British Airways on a number of occasions and it is jolly good! Wide seats that are conducive to sleeping, stylish cabins, competent staff and pilots. First on British Airways remains one of the most luxurious ways to cross the Atlantic.

Other options include Lufthansa in First, Air France in First, SWISS in First and American Airlines in First, but it is extremely difficult to find award availability in First, transatlantic, on these airlines.

There are flights available on the 3rd and 4th December along with a number of other dates during December. The final cost is 85000 Avios + £ 359.97 off-peak one way, (remember to book two one-way flights instead of a roundtrip to save on fuel surcharges).

London is wonderful at Christmas. Check out our photo above and more photos of the superb lighting displays in and around London which we took in 2014.
