Gulf Air took delivery of its new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner this April which will be added to the current widebody fleet of Airbus A330s flown by Gulf Air.
Business Class will have 26 lie-flat seats, which are very decent and virtually match the Business Class seats that Japan Airlines which I have reviewed, Korean Air and Oman Air offer. There will also be 256 economy seats in a 3-3-3 configuration.
The aircraft will debut on the London (LHR) to Bahrain (BAH) route on June 15. Gulf Air has 20 more 787s on order and will adding four more to their fleet in 2018.
