I always like a good weather video and last week, a tornado hit Lauderdale airport resulting in 225 delayed flights. The tornado was caught on video, hitting the tarmac, where is reached speeds of about 84 mph and “blew luggage trolleys into the airfield.” It sat “from 4:25 p.m. to 4:36 p.m. and stretched for just over 3 miles at a width of 40 yards.”
The airport wasn’t reopened until 7:30 p.m.
