Delta One Suites are brilliant Business Class Seats and are far better than United’s Polaris seats and are marginally better than American Airline’s variety of Business Class seats. You can book the Delta One Suite seats on their A350 planes. These planes are also new and great for combatting jetlag. Currently, the A350 only flies on certain routes.

Deltas’ new Delta One Business Class is a walled cocoon which can be experienced on its Airbus A350. This new seat will also be rolled out on its Boeing 777. If you can’t stretch to Business, read my latest tips on getting a free flight upgrade for your next trip.

How To Find Whether I Am Flying Delta’s A350?

Search for your flight on Google Flights and doublecheck which plane you are flying on, on the Delta website before booking. Of course, Delta will occasionally swap out their Airbus 350 for another plane on certain routes, so there is no way to 100% guarantee you will get a Delta One Suite, but by doublechecking, you can ensure your chances are as high as possible.

Currently, Delta is flying their A350 on the following routes:

Atlanta to Seoul currently offers their flagship Delta One Suite and Premium Select on their A350 aircraft.
Delta already flies it’s Airbus A350 daily between Detroit (DTW) and Tokyo Narita (NRT). Delta also flies daily between Detroit (DTW) and Seoul (ICN) and Beijing flights from Detroit (DTW).
Starting tomorrow, Delta will launch their A350 on the Detroit to Amsterdam route. This is the first transatlantic route for the Delta One Suite and their Premium Select offering. The flight will operate numbers 132, 133 respectively, and will be one of the best ways to fly between the US and Europe.
Starting April 19th, Delta will launch their daily A350 service from Detroit to Shanghai. A little later this year on July 2nd Delta will be flying it’s A350 from the West Coast (LAX) to Shanghai.

Right now there are not any A350 planes flying out of New York JFK or into London. They tend to fly A330’s on this route. As these are popular transatlantic routes we expect Deta to be adding in more A350’s to their European routes soon.
