Book A Vacation

Treat your loved one to one of these amazing beach hotels in Hawaii. We have picked our favourite five for you to peruse, then book those flights and whisk yourself away on that trip that you both deserve.

Four Seasons Lanai

Four Seasons has four hotels in Hawaii; Four Seasons Hualalai (on Big Island), Four Seasons Lanai, Four Seasons Maui at Wailea, and the Four Seasons Oahu at Ko Olina. They are all gorgeous and they are all pretty expensive.

The Four Seasons Lanai is the most remote of these four resorts and sits on the island of Lanai which is now owned by billionaire Larry Ellison. The hotel was recently renovated and offers a true escape, just steps from an empty, golden sand beach and next to a stunning cliff-side golf course. If you like food, you will love the Nobu restaurant which is located at the front of the building enjoying sunset views across the bay.

Wailea Beach Resort by Marriott

If the Four Seasons hotels are out of your budget, you do not need to break the bank to experience this level of luxury. The Wailea Beach Resort by Marriott is a superb choice in the resort of Wailea on Maui. This resort juts out into the ocean on a headland, steps from the beach and just a few minutes walk along the boardwalk to the Four Seasons in Maui.

Stay here and enjoy jaw-dropping views from your room and acres of greenery and gardens. Take an evening stroll up to the Four Seasons and you can enjoy many of the amenities of this more expensive hotel, such as the bar and restaurant, while the room you are staying at up the road is a fraction of the price.

The St. Regis Princeville Resort

For something completely different, try the garden island of Kauai. This beautiful island offers some of the most stunning “Jurassic Park” style mountains and you can enjoy these amazing views from the luxury of the The St. Regis Princeville Resort. This beautiful resort sits on its own private beach and is set in one of the most stunning locations on these islands.

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is situated on the Kona (west) coast of the Big Island of Hawaii, it is close to the airport so easy to reach.

A highlight beyond the beach and the dramatic Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course with incredible ocean views is the King’s Pond which is the ultimate swimming experience. This pool is carved out of the black lava and has a flat sandy bottom. It is filled with seawater and is home to thousands of fish, including spotted eagle rays.

Swimming in this pool is like swimming in an aquarium and your experience can be enhanced by using the complimentary snorkel gear. Pick a room with an outdoor black lava shower for a really special experience. This hotel cannot be beaten for the complete resort experience in Hawaii.

The Royal Hawaiian, Waikiki

My final choice is the Pink Palace of the Pacific, which sits right in the heart of Waikiki on the island of Oahu. It is rich in history and was featured in the iconic series “Mad Men” as Don Draper supposedly chose to stay here in 1967. The traditional Aha’aina, or a feast of food, song, and hula, remains pretty much the same as all that time ago and is an unmissable event.

The Royal Hawaiian, is a Luxury Collection Hotel, part of the Starwood brand. This is a place to sip a Mai Tai in the bar and laze on a lounger in the gardens or down on the beach, watching the surf. Life does not get better than this!
