British Ministers really do jump from one scandal to the next. The latest debacle is the £74 million GBP worth of taxpayer cash being expensed on luxury travel and this includes Business Class on British Airways Which we have reviewed.
According to the Daily Mail, just one Department; the Department for Work and Pensions, spent £5.2 million GBP on taxis and nearly £333,000 GBP on business class flights between April 2013 and March 2017.
They say “Where travel is appropriate it requires the use of the most cost-effective mode” but this is clearly untrue and leaves cash-strapped taxpayers with a nasty taste in their mouth.
