In case you haven’t been to these destinations, it is worth mentioning that both islands are stunning. Guadaloupe is a mass of sugar cane fields and tropical jungle. It is mountainous and lush and is situated in the French West Indies. A good hotel choice would be Auberge de la Veille Tour, a large, 160-room hotel with stunning suites offering panoramic views of the Atlantic from bed or bath. The hotel also has a small private beach, and there are plenty more stretches of sand just a short stroll away.
