It’s cold so lets all fly to the sunshine on the cheap. You will find the latest and best flight deals and errors below (including free bitcoin at the bottom of this article). Don’t miss out!
$80 Flights To Hawaii With A Catch
Scoot, the low-cost arm of the Singapore Airlines Group, has entered the Hawaii market with $80 flights but there is a catch. The flights will be routed from Honolulu to Singapore through Osaka. They are ideal for those travelling to Singapore and Osaka but less useful to the Americans who read Luxury Travel Diary.
That said, one would hope that these super cheap fares might eventually evolve to include the Hawaii to US routings. Until then, you need to live in Japan or Singapore to take advantage of these outrageous prices.
These promotional fares will start Dec. 19, and the price is $80 for a one-way ticket from Honolulu to Osaka and $200 to Singapore and can be booked for travel between Dec. 19 and Christmas Day.
$199 Flights To Hawaii From USA (No Catch!)
This week, Hawaiian Airlines announced an expansion of service between San Diego and Maui during the summer, launching May 1. To celebrate, travellers can book a special $199 one-way fare from now until December 11, 2017 for travel Mondays through Thursdays from May 1 through May 24, 2018.
JetBlue $49 Domestic Flights
JetBlue is offering US domestic flights from at just $49 one-way to fly from cities like New York to Portland. If you want to fly to the sun you can grab a flight from Fort Lauderdale to Turks and Caicos from $59 one-way and Puerto Rico from $69 one-way, or from Orlando to Cancun for $105 one-way.
New York to Cancun for $279
A great price if you fancy some sun. Again, there is no trick in booking this; just make the booking on the Delta Airlines website.
Norwegian Airlines: Caribbean for $59
Head to the sunshine with Norwegian Airlines. Flights from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to Guadeloupe and Martinique in the Caribbean for just $59 one-way. Flights departing between December and February.
If you prefer to head to Europe, one-way tickets to Rome from Los Angeles LAX come in under $190 and Barcelona is less than $180. At these prices, you can book a spur-of-the-moment trip!
Find Airline Fare Errors To The Sun
Cheapflightsfinder.com is offering a new service which searches for error fares by tracking the lowest fares on “over 1,200 sources” and then comparing the prices between search engines and aggregators.
Airline error fares are uncovered but also genuine time-sensitive travel deals officially published by the airlines. “All one has to do is go to CheapFlightsFinder.com, enter your local departure airport, for example, London, then select whole year in flexible dates and hit search.”
Some of the fares the new service has uncovered include the following roundtrip flights:
London to Hong Kong – £260
San Francisco to London – $276
New York to Paris – $260
Free Bitcoin & Free Airline Miles With Bitcoin
Why not invest in Bitcoin today and use your profits to pay for your future flights? Seeing as Bitcoin seems to be on a roll, with a current price of around $15,000 and predictions of Bitcoin being worth $100,000 – $2 million over the next few years, it is never too late to jump on this bandwagon. It is worth noting that investing in cryptocurrencies remains a gamble but you can start small and if you simply invest coffee money, you have little to lose. One the most educated articles I have read trying to make sense of Bitcoin can be found on Moneyweek.
If you do decide to buy Bitcoin, make sure you set it up using a coinbase referral link like mine. Once you buy or sell $100 USD (£76) of digital currency or more, you will get $10 USD (£7) of free Bitcoin (as will your referrer, which on the link above would be me). I have also found Bitcoin to be a great way of boosting my airline miles. To the moon…
