I am not kidding, the latest private jet trip from National Geographic claims to show you the source of Happiness and Longevity all for the bargain price of $99,945.

What do you get for $99,945?

Join National Geographic Explorer and New York Times best-selling author Dan Buettner on a journey inspired by the “blue zone” areas, places in the world where higher percentages of people enjoy remarkably long, full lives.

On this journey, you will meet with elders in an Okinawan village to discover how their traditional lifestyle has led to longevity and happiness; speak to a local government official in Bhutan to learn more about the country’s Gross National Happiness measure and hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest monastery; and enjoy a tasting at a vineyard in Sardinia, Italy and find out how wine is a critical part of the local diet—and well-being. You will also immerse yourself in the Danish way of life as you cycle through the streets of Copenhagen, one of the happiest cities in the world.

The trip will last 18 Days.

My Thoughts

I am a great believer that happiness does indeed contribute to longevity, so if the itinerary of this trip appeals, it might just increase your longevity.

My happiness (at least in the summer) can be found on the terrace of Grand Hotel du Cap Ferrat, a Four Seasons hotel. Life really doesn’t get better than a summer evening at this hotel. I like to think that a stay here contributes towards extending my own longevity through complete happiness. I would spend my $99k on 99 days here rather than 18 days searching for the elixir of life in a private jet, but it wouldn’t do for us all to like the same thing!
