10 Of The Cheapest (& Free) Travel Deals For 2018

Here are my favourite flight and hotel deals for travel in 2018. Fly away to the sun for less and stay longer!

$335 Flights To Hawaii

Hop on over to Delta.com for some of the cheapest flights to Hawaii that we have ever seen. Prices start at $335 from the West Coast, and both American Airlines and Delta have launched sales fares of just $374 from Atlanta, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis, Miami, Philadelphia, Dallas, Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles.

These deals can be booked directly with on the respective airline websites. It is worth checking both American and Delta, although Delta tends to be the winner from East Coast cities. We suggest making your booking quick as we have never seen cheaper flight prices to Hawaii cheaper!

Super Cheap Hotels In Travel Auction

You simply will not find a better or cheaper price for any of the hotel & villa stays featured in our Luxury Travel Auction. These one-off stays always sell for a fraction of their value so you are guaranteed to pick up an incredible deal. Stay in Bali, Tokyo, London or the Maldives (pictured above). Safari in luxury or learn to surf at a beach resort. Whatever takes your fancy, you can bid from wherever you are in the world, and prices for these one-off stays start at just £0.99 (around $1.33).

Our travel auction stays end throughout January and February.

Transatlantic Steals

If you want to fly transatlantic ALWAYS check out Norwegian Airlines and WOW Air first as they will probably be cheaper. With transatlantic tickets starting at $100 you have no excuse not to fly away in 2018!

Multiple British Airways Sales For My British Readers

I have already written about the amazing prices for British Airways European Business Class, but the sale fares do not stop here, although the current super deals are from London only.

British Airways is also currently offering First Class sale fares from London to New York for as little as £1,798. You will earn between 8,645 and 10,374 Avios if you are a blue member along with 210 tier points EACH WAY with this ticket.

With my Avios valuation, 20,000 Avios alone is worth £400 which massively reduces the cost of this ticket. 420 tier points is enough to get you past bronze and to almost to Silver (status) which you reach at 600).

Virgin Atlantic Winter Sale

Virgin Atlantic has launched it’s US & UK Winter sale. They have been one of our favourite ways to fly although the disaster with their Dreamliner engines has made them a slightly less appealing choice lately.

This “fabulous flight sale” starts with prices from $280 return from Boston to London & $318 return from LA to London on their US site.

The UK offers start at £385 return from the UK to America in their UK Winter sale.

More interestingly for UK flyers, are the Virgin flights in and out of Dublin, Ireland, which start at £1,116 in Upper Class to Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, Las Vegas and Or San Francisco. You can then connect to London on British Airways in Club Europe. You need to book these fares on Expedia or Opodo.

American Airlines Business Class Sale

American Airlines is on sale if you are looking for a Business Class roundtrip to China. The price from either Toronto or Vancouver is $2000.

On your return flight, if you connect via a US city you may want to consider getting off there and binning the final leg of your flight.

Airline Fare Errors

Cheapflightsfinder.com is offering a new service which searches for error fares by tracking the lowest fares on “over 1,200 sources” and then comparing the prices between search engines and aggregators.

Airline error fares are uncovered but also genuine time-sensitive travel deals officially published by the airlines. “All one has to do is go to CheapFlightsFinder.com, enter your local departure airport, for example, London, then select the whole year in flexible dates and hit search.”

Some of the fares the new service has uncovered include the following roundtrip flights:
London to Hong Kong – £260
San Francisco to London – $276
New York to Paris – $260

FREE Bitcoin & Free Airline Miles With Bitcoin

Why not invest in Bitcoin today (the price has dropped massively since Christmas) and use your profits to pay for your future flights? If you have faith in these predictions; the Director of Payal, this millionaire and this expert all predicting that Bitcoin will be worth $150,000 in a year or two, there is still a chance to make a quick buck!

If you do decide to buy Bitcoin, make sure you set it up using a coinbase referral link like mine. Once you buy or sell $100 USD (£76) of digital currency or more, you will get $10 USD (£7) of free Bitcoin (as will your referrer, which on the link above would be me). To the moon…
