This much-loved family-run hotel offers 56 spacious and comfortable rooms and great facilities. The outdoors is the highlight of this hotel. The beautiful and well-maintained grounds, where wildlife can freely come and go; Warthogs and Mongoose are often found on the lawns and are framed by the distant mist from the Falls. This mist creates magical rainbows in the sunlight, and the comforting roar of the Falls is a constant in the background.
The pool is lovely and the alfresco restaurant takes advantage of the views. A special mention also goes out to the staff here who bend over backwards to make your stay special.
All Ilala Lodge rooms have en-suite bathroom with separate shower, air-conditioning, overhead fan, satellite TV and have individual coffee and tea facilities. The highlight of these rooms is the fact that they open up to the glorious lawns or their own private balcony areas where you can sit with a glass of wine and enjoy a view of the spray, and from the upper rooms, the Falls themselves.
