A Delta Air Lines Boeing 737 crashed into the wing of an American Airlines 757 plane while it was stationary and waiting to depart at New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport earlier this week (on Tuesday 15th August).
As the Delta Air Lines jet manoeuvred behind the American Boeing 757, the left wing came into banged into the horizontal stabilizer on the right tail of the American plane, according to Forbes.
The American Airlines plane was scheduled to fly to Dublin and the Delta flight 2503 was bound for Seattle.
The crash caused no major injuries but did delay passengers and causing damage to the aircraft involved.
