Book A Stay

The largest city in India, Mumbai (formally Bombay) is known as being an exotic, energic place teeming with people. For a serene place to make your own for your visit, you can’t do better than the 5-Star Grand Hyatt Mumbai; a contemporary lifestyle hotel nestled in 12 acres of lush greenery.

Location

The hotel is a landmark in the city of Mumbai, set on ten acres of prime land in the heart of the city in the Santacruz / Kalina area; you are just five minutes from Bandra-Kurla, Mumbai’s emerging business district. The domestic airport is just 10 minutes away and the domestic airport, a short 20-minute drive. Top must see-sights in Mumbai include the iconic Gateway of India stone arch on the harbour waterfront and nearby Elephanta Island’s ancient cave temples dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva alongside stunning colonial-era architecture, unique bazaars and hidden temples; it’s also the heart and soul of the Bollywood industry.

Style & Character

Externally the hotel is stunning, there are extensive landscaped grounds with an upper courtyard, lush greenery and fabulous water features; it’s just the tonic to escape the pulsating city and spend some time calming in nature. Inside, the hotel is contemporary, stylish and slick. The hotel also boasts a fine collection of commissioned art by both established and upcoming Indian artists; ideal for art-lovers, you can request a tour and they’ll take you on an art journey around the hotel’s public areas, lobbies and restaurants.

Service & Facilities

When you’ve spent a busy day exploring this fascinating city, there is much to entertain you back at the hotel; relax by the outdoor swimming pools (there are two) with a cocktail, take a dip in the indoor pool, unwind in style at the Club Oasis Spa & Salon, calm with a Yoga sessions poolside or keep the heart pumping at the 24-hour gym. And when you’re feeling restored, it’s time to stretch the credit card a little at the Grand Hyatt Plaza shopping centre; two levels of shops wrap elegantly around a central Atrium and international designer boutiques sit alongside high-end domestic stores. The service at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai at exceptional and really stands out; all the staff are very hospitable and you won’t want for anything.

Rooms

There are spaces to meet all needs; this is the nicest luxury hotel near the airport so choose a room if you’ve just got a night or two before moving on, if you plan to stay a while in Mumbai, then opt for a Grand Club Room or a Suite and for longer, extended stays or if you’re here on business (and there are first-class business facilities if you are), there are 110 contemporary serviced apartments. The Grand Club Rooms also gain you access to the exclusive Club Lounge where continental breakfast, evening hors d’oeuvres, and all-day refreshments are served. Even the Standard Rooms are contemporary and spacious, though personally I’d opt for a room with a View; the huge floor to ceiling windows overlook the courtyard or pool.

Food & Drink

You are in for a gastronomic treat with five award-winning restaurants and bars! Choose from Indian, Italian, Chinese or a buffet with tastes of Thai, Sushi, Lebanese, Indian and Western delicacies; there’s also a deli and bakery which combines beautifully with an afternoon at the Grand Hyatt Plaza shopping centre. As night falls, the eclectic lobby bar is the place to go or relax in the lounge with a cocktail before hitting the nightclub to really keep the night alive.
