Location
The Habtoor Grand Resort is located on Dubai’s beautiful Jumeirah Beach, adjacent to the Dubai Marina and a short walk from some of the area’s most popular attractions. This location is perfect as it offers the best of both worlds; you are located right on the beach overlooking the Arabian Gulf, but are also only a short walk from where all the action is in the city. Flight times from London to Dubai come in under 7 hours and the popular route is served by several major airlines including British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Qantas and Emirates.
Style & Character
The décor is opulent and glamourous but still manages to feel contemporary. The pool areas are beautifully designed and laid out, with landscaped gardens and mini bridges to create a beautiful, peaceful vibe. The staggering views are a big part of staying here, you are right on the beach and the views across the Arabian Gulf simply cannot be ignored; not that you’d want to!
Service & Facilities
The resort boasts a range of 5-star amenities, including: an award-winning club lounge, a full-service spa with 5 treatment rooms, fitness centre, tennis & squash courts, kid’s club, private beach and three outdoor swimming pools (including a children’s pool with water slides). It’s not just us that has been seduced by this resort; it was recently awarded “World’s Leading MICE Resort” and received extended accolades for hosting the “World’s Best Club Lounge” for 2 consecutive years. Rooms
The 446 immaculately designed rooms and suites offer a superior, luxury stay with deluxe bedding, 42-inch flat-screen TVs with cable, a mini-bar, free Wi-Fi, rain showers in the bathrooms and stunning panoramic garden or sea views with many rooms also offering private balconies. There are five levels of room (Tower, Tower Oceanfront, Tower Family, Club and Club Oceanfront) and then Family Suites, Club Suites and the Ambassador Suite. Personally, I would always go for the ocean views so would pick an Oceanfront room and an upgrade to a Club Level room is definitely recommended as it gains you entrance to the exclusive Lounge as well as complimentary airport transfers.
Food & Drink
You are totally spoilt for choice with an impressive array of 15 dining options! Give yourself a challenge to try as many as possible and we doubt you’ll be disappointed with the standard and service at any of these establishments. If you fancy Italian, try Luciano’s; for Thai, it’s Bamboo Kitchen; The Grand Grill is the place to go for a delicious steak and there’s even an iconic English pub at The Underground Pub. There are also several beach and pool bars, a cocktail lounge and XL Dubai Night Club where the pumping all-day beach parties are legendary.
