The Bodrum

Location: Turkey

For a taste of style and opulence reminiscent of a glamourous old-school Hollywood movie, Paramount Hotels & Resorts offer a wonderfully indulgent holiday experience. Their first hotel, The Bodrum by Paramount Hotels & Resorts, has all this along with stunning views of the azure Aegean Sea.

The resort lies on an exclusive beach on the coast of Bodrum in one of the most spectacular bays of the peninsula in Zeytinlikahve Mevkii, Bodrum in Turkey. Covering an impressive 110,000 square metres, the breathtaking design means the resort wraps around the coast allowing the sea views to be glimpsed from just about everywhere. Downtown Bodrum is just 10 km away, although there’s very little reason to leave this luxurious paradise. It’s just 20 minutes from Bodrum airport and with flight times from London coming in at under 4 hours, you’ll be dipping your toes in the warm pools and sipping on a glass of something bubbly before you know it.

Style & Character

Put simply, this is ultra-luxury and sheer, unparalleled glamour; Paramount Hotels & Resorts merges the creative, silver-screen imagination with warm service, excellent design and energising concepts which results in a special guest experience that you’ll struggle to find elsewhere. There is a feeling of drama, the beauty of the surroundings and the resort itself is showcased rather than just offered and the service is a performance in its own right; Hollywood pumps through the very veins of this resort.

Service & Facilities

The facilities list is as impressive as you would expect; you can look forward to a private Turkish Hammam, distinctive culinary experiences, lounges and bars, high-end retail boutiques, a Kids Studio Club as well as the Pause wellness and fitness centre with 12 treatment rooms, a water sports centre and more than 70 resort and private pools!

There are 134 luxurious and elegant rooms, suites and villas, all have their own terraces or balconies, king-sized beds, state of the art audio-visual equipment, including IPTV, Apple TV and complimentary Wi-Fi, digital safe, minibar, Bugatti kettle and Nespresso coffee machine. Entry-level accommodation is the 27 Studio Rooms, at 35 sqm, sleeping 3, with private dressing rooms; these are stunning rooms that would certainly not be entry-level in a standard 5-star hotel! There are 6 variations of Suite which vary from 90 to 180 sqm and 5 variations of Villa, with sizes ranging between 195-900m2 and the added bonus of their own private indoor and outdoor pools with large decks, as well as Turkish hammam and massage room. At the top end, you experience pure bliss with private beach cabanas, exclusive chef services, a private butler and extravagant accommodation that simply oozes class.

Food & Drink

When mealtime comes simply consider whether you fancy Italian, Asian Fusion or perhaps Lebanese. The Stage is the glamourous main restaurant; live cooking stations, buffet-style and a casual atmosphere. Vito’s offers Italian restaurant from its wonderful garden terrace location. Find Asian Fusion cuisine at Shimeji; the freshest sushi and sashimi, wok dishes, noodle dishes and vegetarian specialities await. B Lounge is the home of Lebanese cuisine, served on an elevated terrace overlooking the Aegean Sea with a shisha lounge and the best sunset views. There are a choice of bars; Tableau, the lobby bar is open all day and does a fabulous afternoon tea, Malibu Deck is the pool bar with a Californian flair; serving gourmet light bites and delicious cocktails with a personalised service, and finally 5555 is the beach bar with a resort-like atmosphere and an extensive drinks menu, offering a selection of light meals and snacks.
