Norwegian Airlines has spent the last week headlining some ridiculous fares including $99 transatlantic flights (between Belfast or Edinburgh and New York).

Now you can fly to Singapore for £149.50. There are a variety of ticket options and the £149.50 ticket doesn’t include much. Described as “LowFare” you will get a seat, but only hand luggage (no checked bag), no seat reservation pre-boarding and no food. But at that price you can afford to stock up with a sandwich at the airport (assuming you can fit it in your limited luggage!).

Seats in Premium Economy come in at around £600 one way. Norwegian Airlines Premium Economy is impressive. In fact, it is better than most other airline Premium Economy products, see my top 10 best Premium Economy airlines in the world. Why is it better? Norwegian Premium offers much more legroom at 46″ than other Premium Economy options. This means your seat offers a very decent recline making it possible to sleep. This is not flat bed. It is more like 1980’s First Class, but for the price, the product is excellent.
