As the name suggests, if you are little for a little treasure to stay in during your next visit to Rome, then look no further! Treasure Rome offer a selection of beautiful Roman residences, with luxury, elegance and exclusivity being of prime importance; these are ideal for the more discerning guest who is used to staying in the finest hotels, but wants a little more freedom that can be so valued when staying in an apartment.
The apartments are situated across the historical centre of Rome, with specific locations including Monti and Piazza Navona, near the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Piazza di Spagna and the Vatican. You really can’t get much more central. The company offers complimentary transfers from airport arrivals for all apartment guests, suits me perfectly as it’s one thing crossed off the to-do list! Rome can be reached from London with an easy 2-and-a-half-hour flight, a variety of airlines fly the popular route including British Airways, Easyjet and Ryanair.
Style & Character
Although obviously, the style varies somewhat across the apartments, a similar thread runs through them all. Elegant, charming and spacious with high ceilings and traditional features; antique furnishings sit perfectly alongside contemporary bathrooms.
Service & Facilities
The privacy, comfort and amenities of a luxury home await. The specific facilities depend very much on the individual apartment, but all residences offer air conditioning and central heating during the winter months. There is always a well-stocked kitchen and usually a dishwasher, linens and towels are provided and enough toiletries to see you through the first few days!
The residences vary from exclusive use for just two people right up to 14; perfect for a family wedding or special occasion. An example property is the Terrace Suite, an exclusive apartment situated in the Monti district, right by the Trevi Fountain and Coliseum. A real highlight is the beautiful private roof terrace, heaving with flowers, it looks right across Rome giving fabulous, panoramic views of the Colosseum and the Quirinale Palace. The apartment enjoys two double bedrooms, featuring stunning 16th century hand painted wooden ceilings and two bathrooms, one with shower and the other with hot tub, as well as a fully equipped kitchen complete with Nespresso coffee machine and living room with piano, TV, double sofa bed, armchairs and beautiful artwork adorning the walls. The apartment also benefits from air conditioning, elevator, Wi-Fi internet, dishwasher and washing machine.
Food & Drink
Well you’re in Rome so you are literally spoilt for choice for food. Obviously, the apartments do include kitchens so self-catering, to some degree at least, is always an option. Alternatively, your hosts are more than happy to arrange a private chef to cater for you. When you want to venture out, and it’s Rome so you must, choose from La Pergola, Rome’s only three-Michelin star restaurant, Il Pagliaccio a two-star Michelin establishment or ask you hosts to recommend other gastronomic delights.
