JOOD Spa promises a journey of ultimate rejuvenation infused by ancient wisdom and philosophies, which sounds like exactly what I need when on holiday! There are 6 luxurious treatment rooms and an experienced team of therapists. The conference and event here are good too, from the tent-shaped ballroom to a choice of intimate meeting rooms.
There are 147 Deluxe, Premium and Club rooms, 10 Ambassador Suites, Two Royal Suites and 90 fully-furnished Deluxe Serviced Residences. What most stands out most with the accommodation, is how spacious all the rooms are, not matter what room type. They are all tastefully designed with plush carpets and elegant décor. There are three main restaurants at JOOD Palace Hotel; for fine-dining Arabic-style, Al Waha is a beautiful space and includes a live charcoal grill; for North Indian cuisine, try award-winning restaurant, Handi, check-out the show kitchen and Tandoori oven, and also on offer is contemporary Japanese and Pan-Asian cuisine at the delightful Sakura. For breakfast, Le Rendezvous is the place to go, it serves a delicious à-la-carte and international buffet breakfast. There is a lounge in the lobby which offers light meals and some fascinating people watching and there’s a club lounge too. Be pre-warned that in keeping with its location, the hotel does not serve alcohol.
