Book A Hotel

I always try and take a cruise or boat trip on my travels but a company in Sydney is offering something a little bit more special than the norm. Sydney Harbour Tall Ships, a small family-owned company, gives their thousands of visitors a year that magical chance to step back in time aboard a majestic and historic Tall Ship and sail around the beautiful Sydney Harbour. With so few tall ships left now, this is a once in a lifetime, authentic experience that you’ll never forget.

Afternoon Discovery Cruise

This wonderful lunchtime cruise takes you past Sydney’s greatest attractions including Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Opera House, Fort Denison, Garden Island, Taronga Zoo, Luna Park and Admiralty House. The style and comfort of the 1850’s tall ship surround you and you can get involved too; help hoist and set the sails, climb the mast or even steer the ship, or alternatively, just sit back, relax and enjoy some delicious nibbles and the entertainment provided the crew, captain, chef and the barman. This is a perfect cruise for all the family to enjoy together, it really has something for everyone.

Convicts, Castles & Champagne Cruise

This cruise is fabulously themed around Sydney’s colourful convict past! The 3-hour tour takes you to historic Goat Island where a fascinating guided convict history walking tour takes place on the island. As well as hearing historic tales of punishment, deaths and escape, you will visit the amazing early 1800s military gun powder magazine, the solders’ barracks complex and Sydney’s oldest Water Police Station, Back on board the traditional 1920’s Wangi Queen Ferry, lunch is served and a cruise around Sydney Harbour, taking in some of the wealthiest and most prestigious suburbs in Australia and the harbour side castles, with a glass of two of delicious chilled bubbly is definitely the order of the day!

Vivid Light Show Cruise

This fabulous cruise aboard a tall ship around Sydney Harbour includes the extra thrill of a vivid light show as the world-famous sails of the Sydney Opera House are transformed by majestic 3D mapped projections from award-winning international artists. The annual event in Sydney takes place from 26th May to 17th June 2017, last year saw vessels on the Harbour decorated with special coloured LED lights and this year promise the same and more. The cruise gives a truly unique view of the spectacle and includes a delicious dinner with drinks and there’s even a mast climb for those brave enough to tackle it! You also have the opportunity to hoist the sails and even steer the ship or just can just sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

Wine and Canapés Dinner Cruise

Watch the sun set and see Sydney lit up by night from a unique vantage point on board an authentic tall ship. Acoustic music is performed live on board the ship, tasty freshly prepared canapés, prepared by the French chef caterers, are served and your glass is filled with matching wines. I’d personally like nothing more than to relax and soak up the evening, but if you’re feeling energetic you can help hoist the sails, climb the mast and even sail the ship!
