We prefer to look at the best beaches in the world but I couldn’t resist sharing the 3 most creepy and strangest beaches in the world. There are some beaches where what you experience is unnerving and even horrific.

We start with Crosby beach near Liverpool in the UK pictured above. The famous and rather depressing but also incredibly thought-provoking “Another Place” sculptures, by Antony Gormley, looks like zombies heading out to sea. My second choice of weird beach is Point Woronzof Park with the very strange “100 Stone Project” representing hundreds of Alaskans’ personal stories in sculptural form. My final choice is Vaadhoo Island in the Maldives which is a beautiful beach that glows at night – yes really!
