Personally, I always prefer to take my own towel when on the beach or by the pool, it’s another style choice for one thing and it’s also much easier to find your spot when you know exactly what you’re looking for! The exact choice of towel is important to me, it needs to look fabulous, be luxurious of course and also be lightweight and absorbent. Read on for my review of the best 3 beach towels to use on your travels in 2017…
For a beautiful towel that is light (70% lighter than an average bath towel to be precise), compact and highly absorbent, it’s got to be the lovely range of Koala Handloomed Towels. Perfect for the beach, pool or home, they are high quality and handloomed using natural fibres. Amazingly the towels become softer and more absorbent the more you use and wash them due to the premium cotton; just like a fine wine! There are a wide range of colours, shapes and textures available; a couple of my favourites are the Sherbet Shores Sunrise for it’s gorgeous lilac, mauve and blue stripes and also the Double Saffron, a sophisticated choice in sandy beige accessorised with tassels; but do have some fun picking yours. Koala also offers unusual and rather special round towels, which will really stand out on the beach. Best of all they dry super quick, so you can return from endless dips in the ocean to a crisp, fresh towel that’s ready to lay on!
If you want an extra-large towel that also manages to be stylish, then check these out, there’s a range of colours and they all feature the signature striped border. They are ultra-absorbent and suitable for the pool, beach or gym.
If you need a travel towel, this is a great one; more attractive than most of the plain options available, but still super lightweight. It dries 8 times faster than a conventional towel and can absorb 9 times its own weight in water; pretty nifty for a towel!
