Related: Oxford Ski

The ski season is nearly upon us and in my book, ski escapes and luxury travel go very firmly hand in hand. The mass ski holidays where you organise everything yourself and stay in second-rate accommodation are certainly not the way to do it! Rather we recommend choosing a specialist ski company; ensuring your accommodation meets your exacting standards, and taking the hassle of arranging everything away from you.

The Oxford Ski Company
Like true specialists, the Oxford Ski Company provide a seamless service, basically they do all the leg-work so the only thing you need to worry about is turning up on time and looking forward to some fabulous skiing in luxury surroundings. As well as flights and transfers, they also organise the little extras, such as childcare, ski school bookings, massages, pampering, restaurant bookings or some après ski cocktails. With over 18 years’ experience, they have amassed an extensive range of luxury, handpicked properties. They pride themselves on regularly inspecting all the properties so you can be confident that your accommodation will be first-class. There are no fees for this service and they don’t just assist you before your trip, but during and even after your return. As an example of just some of their fabulous range of properties, read on for details of their top 3 new chalets and top 3 new hotels.

Chalet Annapurna is huge at 450m2 spread over five stunning floors. The chalet features old wood throughout and is full of light with large panoramic windows to take advantage of the spectacular views. There is an outdoor hot tub, sauna and gym. This would be a perfect chalet for a large family as it includes 7 double or twin en suite bedrooms.

Chalet Tschoder, St Anton
Perched on the edge of the piste leading down to the Nasserein lift, with breath-taking views of the surrounding peaks and village, the beautiful Apartment Tschoder is undeniably in one of St. Anton’s most enviable locations. One of the best things is you can ski right up to the chalet! There are 7 bedrooms for 14 people and a clever use of space means there’s always a space or entertainment area to relax and you don’t feel on top of each other. An outdoor hot tub, gym, sauna, spa and dedicated cinema room up the luxury a notch!
