British Airways opened the First Wing at London Heathrow terminal in April 2017. The First Wing is an exclusive fast-track entry route for First Class, Gold Executive Club, and Oneworld Emerald British Airways passengers at Heathrow Terminal 5.

The First Wing whisks passengers from the existing First check-in area at the terminal directly through to the Galleries First Lounge and onto the Concorde Room via two new dedicated security lanes and a new walkway.

There is already a “Millionaire’s Door,” which allows First Class passengers to bypass the “down and up” trek down and up the escalators and through the busy shopping area that you must endure to get to all BA’s lounges at terminal 5, except the Galleries Club North lounge which is found at the opposite end of the terminal and is more easily reached from the main security areas.

The new First Wing will further improve Fast Track entry in Terminal 5 for a select few. Those in Club World will not get access to The First Wing. This route will mean that First Class, Gold Executive Club, and Oneworld Emerald passengers will no longer use the main fast track access lanes, meaning Club World and Club Europe Business Class passengers will benefit from less congestion in Heathrow’s fast track at North and South security.
