Nimma Jewelry Inspired By Sunsets

For fine jewelry that is both wearable and modern in style, look no further than Nimma Jewelry. Founded on the west coast shores of California by creator and designer Nimma Bhusri, Nimma Jewelry is the perfect fine jewelry to live in; for both day to day use and by night. Each piece has a whisper of urban cool about it; minimalist, timeless and exuding class. An original use of asymmetry adds a unique style to this stunning, expertly handcrafted jewelry. Featured in Vogue and Tatler, there is a growing excitement about the brand.

I recently had the chance to interview Nimma Bhusri about her fabulous collection.

“My formal education and work experience has been in the apparel design space; I’ve had a very fulfilling and exciting career working on design teams of major fashion brands in the USA. Over the last few years, I’ve had the inclination of being ready to step into something of my own; a brand and business that I could build and launch from the ground up – and so the birth of Nimma Jewelry! The most important driving force was wanting to be part of something timeless and not disposable, something having a forever value hence, fine jewelry. My inspiration comes from architecture, industrial design and the simplicity of asymmetry. My favorite piece is the Skyline Ring – very minimalist-modern in design, that features both black and white diamonds. The most expensive piece is our Atlas Studs that are set in white gold and also feature both black and white diamonds. “Most of our pieces are named after a place or an atmospheric element of sorts; such as our Gravity or Axis Studs. Our Sunset Studs are named after Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, literally from a moment when I was driving west on Sunset Boulevard to turn right on to Pacific Coast Highway, to then see the most magnificent sunset that filled up the sky; the time, location and place just stuck in my mind.”

The collection will soon be available in London at Kabiri, Marylebone and also online at Far Fetch.
