Book A Hotel

With staycations on the up again, it’s worth considering somewhere a little closer to home for your next holiday. A glamping holiday gives you the chance to reconnect; with both your family, the stunning countryside all around you and perhaps most significantly, with yourself. Longberry Farm Glamping is the epitome of glamping; offering luxury camping-style self-catering accommodation in the beautiful Kent countryside. Situated just outside the rural village of Bethersden, you are only an hour and a half from London, but you’ll feel a whole world away with the tranquil landscape surrounding you. Should you wish to arrive by train, it’s only 40 minutes from London and a free taxi service is provided by the Farm!

Review
Longberry Farm Glamping is an intimate, friendly, family run site. There are three 5m Bell Tents and a modern, sparkling clean washroom outside the tents, with hot showers, toilets and washing up sinks – there’s even baby changing facilities! The décor is enchanting, you could be in a country cottage; with beautiful soft furnishing and vintage style accessories making this feel really rather different from old school camping! The owners are very accommodating and do everything they can to look after you and make your stay special – they’ll even arrange a chilled bottle of champagne if you’re celebrating! Free parking is available on site and pets are welcome. The site is very peaceful; you have all the time and space you need to relax and totally forget the pressures of modern life.

Rooms
Each Bell Tent can house up to 4 people with a comfortable double bed with duvet, pillows and bedding and 2 single blow-up mattresses also with bedding (fine for adults but ideal for children). The tents also include rugs, cushions and blankets to maximise your comfort, lighting and lanterns, a selection of games, towels, toiletries and complementary tea & coffee – a whole lot more comfortable than your traditional camping experience I’m sure you’ll agree!

Food
The tents include gas BBQs as well as cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment for nights spent snuggled outside your tent around the campfire (wood is provided for your fire pit). The nearby village of Bethersden has a local village shop to pick up supplies and an excellent local butchers shop to ensure you have plenty of fresh meat to BBQ. The Farm can also provide Breakfast Boxes and BBQ Boxes for a small charge. If you fancy a night off cooking, there are two lovely pubs in the local village.

Activities
Situated in the heart of Kent, there are attractions all around you, some of the highlights include: Kent & East Sussex Railway (20 minutes away), Ashford Designer Outlet Centre (15 minutes away) and the National Trust property Sissinghurst Castle Garden (20 minutes away). You are only half an hour to the beaches of Folkestone or the beautiful sand dunes of Camber Sands. Staying closer to home, there are several lovely walks and trails which can be started right from the front gate.

For a chance to take a pause and appreciate the little things in life, you’ll find a truly luxurious glamping experience waiting for you at Longberry Farm Glamping.
