Luxury Travel Diary has teamed up with Galloway Activity Centre’s unique, luxury Ec(H)o Yurt, the Otter on the shores of Loch Ken in South West Scotland, to give away a two night stay for 2 people worth £450 in this incredible eco-accommodation created by Award Winning designer Sam Booth.
Stay in the brand new, remarkable Ec(h)o Yurt, a circular structure built entirely from Larch wood, which is off-grid and covered with a grass Sedam roof that allows the accommodation to truly blend into the surrounding countryside. Couples can indulge in a beautiful, natural interior which includes repurposed antique and vintage furniture with a lovely wood burning stove and luxury double bed fitted into the curvature of the building. The idyllic hideaway is self-contained and boasts enviable views over a tranquil pond just metres from the loch, where guests can view the abundant wildlife from the comfort of a wood fired, wooden hot tub located on private decking.
