The design of the Four Seasons Resort Marrakech is contemporary with a slight Moroccan twist. Aiming to bring guests the best of old and new, traditional Moroccan style architecture blends beautifully with the stunning modern design of the pool area, while the grounds are full of attractive courtyards, fountains, palm trees and olive trees. Inside, the luxurious décor is mostly light, bright and modern, mixed with more traditional furniture and artefacts.
The resort offers a wide range of accommodation, from superior, deluxe, premier and pavilion rooms to a variety of suites. Whichever room you go for, you’ll be guaranteed a private balcony overlooking the hotel’s lovely grounds, the historic Menara Gardens (located next door) or the Atlas Mountains. All rooms offer a wealth of amenities including down pillows, thick towelling bathrobes, hair dryer and makeup mirror, refrigerated private bar, complimentary Wi-Fi, iPod docking station and twice daily housekeeping service. Like the rest of the resort, the rooms have been designed to promote a feeling of calm and offer contemporary décor in a soft, neutral colour palette with plenty of beautiful Moroccan touches including handcrafted woodwork. King size beds and marble bathrooms with walk-in rain showers add to the luxurious feel of the surroundings, while additional beds or adjoining rooms are available for families. Room Tip – Ask for a room with a view of the Atlas Mountains – truly spectacular!
Restaurants and Bars
With three restaurants and two lounges to choose from, there are plenty of options when it comes to dining at the Four Seasons Resort Marrakech. Solano offers a varied breakfast buffet in the mornings and at night, a cosy trattoria atmosphere, with plenty of tables on the terrace overlooking the resort. Azzera is the perfect poolside spot to grab a sandwich or something from the grill. For cocktails or middle Eastern mezze, Inara with its intimate indoor and outdoor setting is definitely worth a visit, as is Zest, located on the rooftop of Bleu d’Orange and open whenever the weather permits.
Pool and Activities
The stunning, 35 metre free-form swimming pool is irresistibly inviting to both adults and children alike, but should the adults prefer to swim in absolute peace, they can also enjoy the beautiful quiet pool. The recently redesigned spa, a haven surrounded by birdsong and fountains, offers massages, facials and a wide range of other treatments as well as a traditional hammam experience. There are also tennis courts and a fitness centre. Outside the resort, you won’t have to go far to explore the delights of Marrakech, including the Menara Gardens, traditional souks and mosques.
Younger guests will love the kids club, which provides all sorts of fun activities from arts and crafts on site to more adventurous pursuits such as camel riding or zip wiring. For teenagers, there’s a young adult centre set up with computers, a library of movies, pool and foosball tables and Wii and Xbox consoles.
