Skye & Staghorn Spring Summer 2016

Reviews : Style

Skye & Staghorn’s latest swimwear offerings for summer 2016 have just gone on sale. It’s time to see what you’ll be wearing on the beach this year.

First up for SS’16 is Montego, a line of white swimwear pieces, perhaps more sedate than whats gone before from Skye & Staghorn. There’s a range of bikini tops to suite all tastes, with classically cut bottoms. The Montego Warp top looks fabulous.

Next is Floreat, a line of swimwear featuring a distinctive blue print. The stand out pieces feature a fabulous mesh. The ‘X’ bottom styled with a criss cross waist band, a nod to this summers trend of cut out bikini bottoms.

And finally Impala, the latest Skye & Staghorn collection. It features pastel nudes, blues and animal print. Impala has a sporty feel and like the previous two collections it features most of this seasons swimwear trends – crop top style bikini tops, sports style bikini tops, high waist bottoms, everyones tastes are catered for.

However the stand out Skye & Staghorn swimsuits that I’ve come to love the brand for, (see Maasai’s Haiti one piece), are absent from Montego, Floreat and Impala.

The lack of a one piece to adore is a small criticism, the cuts of the bikinis in all three collections look super flattering and the styling as fabulous as ever. Skye & Staghorn remain very much an Aussie favourite.
