Hotel Minho has 60 rooms – 42 with twin beds, 15 with double beds, and 3 family rooms which contain an extra bed. There are also 5 suites which are perfect for families with 2 to 3 children. The clean, contemporary style of the hotel is carried through to the décor of the rooms, all of which are air-conditioned and have free Wi-Fi, LCD TV with cable and satellite channels, minibar, hairdryer, and 100% cotton towels. The suites are separate from the main hotel and built over two floors, with living area and kitchenette on the ground floor and bedrooms upstairs. The décor of each suite has its own unique character, with each one being inspired by a different artist. Room Tip – Depending on what’s more important to you, third-floor rooms are more spacious and boast large balconies, but ground floor rooms offer direct access to the pool.
Restaurant and Bar
Situated next to the main hotel, restaurant Braseirão do Minho offers an authentic taste of local dishes, serving traditional regional food at lunch (12:00 – 3:00 pm) and dinner (7:30 – 10:00 pm). Breakfast is served in the hotel’s stunning glass breakfast room every morning from 7:30 – 10:30 am and also offers an array of local produce, including freshly baked bread, preserves, and cakes. Impeccably designed, the wine bar is not to be missed, so make sure you drop in to sample some vinho verde – young wine local to this region of Portugal.
