Name: London Lifestyle Apartments Belgravia
Location: United Kingdom
London is considered by many to be one of the most hip cities in the world. A city that a traveller can visit again and again and each time find a new and surprising corner. One of my favourite things about London is walking. When you travel by tube the distances between landmarks are unfathomable. When you walk you realise that no landmark is too far from the next and that, with a pair of flat shoes (sadly necessary), you can walk from the Natural History Museum to Harrods and back along Kings Road all in a morning. Then hop on the tube over to Westminster and spend the afternoon strolling past the Houses of Parliament, past the base of Big Ben and across the River Thames to the London Eye. If you prefer to do something that the locals love, head over to the designer stores up New Bond Street before lunching in style on Berkley Square. Steeped in history and architecture, London is a timeless city offering a fascinating mix of old and new, just waiting to be discovered.
The Luxury London Apartment
An ideal way to discover London is to spend that little bit longer in the city by renting a luxury apartment. The Lyall Exclusive is a truly unique two bedroom two bathroom apartment in the heart of Belgravia – one of central london’s most exclusive and expensive residential districts and home to many of London’s top hotels, including the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel, just 2 minutes’ walk from the apartment. Close to Harrod’s, and other exclusive Knightsbridge shopping, the apartment is also in walking distance of many of central London’s sights, shopping and parks. The Lyall Exclusive has many unique design features which make this truly a one of a kind apartment for your stay in central London backed up by London Lifestyle Apartment’s hospitality and care to ensure that you fully enjoy your London stay.
Located 8 minutes’ walk from Sloane Square Station and the excellent shopping in King’s Road, Chelsea, The Lyall Exclusive is 10 minutes’ walk from Knightsbridge Station, Harrod’s, Harvey Nichols and the many other options for exclusive shopping. Hyde Park is 15 minutes’ walk away and the apartment is also located in walking distance of Hyde Park Corner, Green Park, St. James’ Park and Buckingham Palace. If you are not keen on walking, trains from Sloane Square or Knightsbridge stations will take you quickly to all of these places and many more. London’s Theatres, Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden, the Tower of London and arrival and departure points, such as London Heathrow and St. Pancras International are on a direct line from Knightsbridge Station.
Set in a row of elegant Georgian houses, alongside the entrance to this apartment is a lovely mews, typical of this part of central London and a relic from a time gone by. Located in a quiet residential street, despite the Ground Floor location, you will have no concern at all about noise, as the apartment has extremely effective wide spaced double glazing. High ceilings and large windows along with a private patio, make this apartment light, airy and the perfect place to enjoy London, both inside and out. The very spacious Lounge has an elegant sofa and several chairs in a mix of classic and modern furnishing. A large flat screen TV is recessed into one wall. The chaise longue is a great way to relax as well as being a very comfortable extra bed option for a child. The whole apartment has elegant dark wood paneling and floors with underfloor heating throughout.
The master bedroom has a queen size double bed and french windows opening out onto the private patio for warmer evenings. The en suite bathroom opens up to reveal his and her wash basins, WC and bidet and a stunning sunken bath, easily also used as a shower. The bath has very comfortable seats and mirrors all around, as well as a selection of Asian inspired statuettes, making this a truly exceptional place to relax and really unwind, soaking away the day that went before. The second bedroom also has a Double Bed and also has french windows opening out onto the private patio. The second bathroom is a smoked glass shower cubicle with rain shower and hand shower.
The galley style kitchen is laid out under the staircase down from the Ground Floor and the underneath of the staircase has been made into a feature of this area with everything you need for your stay. There is also a washing machine with separate dryer and iron and ironing board.
Guest comments describe this apartment better than me. “From the photos I thought this apartment looked great but the photos just do not prepare you fully for the stunning features of this luxury apartment. Be prepared to feel your jaw drop. Since I got back home, I think I have talked more about the apartment to my family and friends than anything else we saw in London.” Ashley Richards, U.S.A. Without a shadow of a doubt, this is a great place to stay for your next trip to London.
