Amanemu by Aman Resorts is their newest opening which is scheduled to debut in the first quarter of 2016. Amanemu is located in Ise Shima National Park in Japan, an area made up of thousands of islands scattered around a number of bays.
Amanemu will be a hot spring resort perched on the rolling shores of Ago Bay, known as the Bay of Pearls, a blue expanse home to drifting oyster rafts and a speckling of verdant islets. Ancient pilgrimage routes wind through forests nearby, and Japan’s most sacred Shinto shrines are within easy reach: Geku Shrine, dedicated to the deity of clothing, food and housing, and Naiku Shrine, devoted to the sun goddess. The ancient Japanese tradition of onsen (mineral hot springs) will be embraced at Amanemu with a private onsen with nutrient-rich spring water in each room as well as outdoor bathing pavilions in the spa
UPDATE 29 Feb (Day before opening of Amanemu) I have been sent full information about Amanemu which you can read about in my new Amanemu article.
Amanemu will be the collection’s second resort in Japan, following the opening of Aman Tokyo in December 2014.
