The luxury Nikki Beach Resort & Spa has launched itself into the Greek luxury market in Porto Heli. With 66 guest rooms and suites, two restaurants, spa and fitness center, Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Porto Heli is the brand’s second hotel property.
This 1970s building has been transformed into a boutique resort where every single rooms and suite has views of the Aegean Sea, many of them also offer their own a private pool. The Nikki Beach Restaurant & Beach Club is packed full of comfy loungers and most probably thumping house tunes judging by the Nikki Beach at the Fairmont in Monte-Carlo.
I have to admit to not being a fan of Nikki Beach concept. I can see the appeal for teenagers who might enjoy getting drunk in a pool surrounded by other teenagers, but the whole concept made me uncomfortable at the Fairmont Monte-Carlo where the pool had been over-run by non guests lolling in the pool with cocktails and beers making “friends” with each other. In my opinion this made the pool completely unusuable for regular guests who simply wanted a swim in a stylish, stress free environment.
If you fancy a more luxury version of club 18-30 I dare say this resort will suit. But if you want a luxury and relaxing getaway, the loud music and packed pool at Nikki Beach will probably not be your cup of tea.
