Sleep tight, but don’t miss your flight! This is the mantra of Minute Suites which is an airport pod or mini-suite concept where you can book a nap for just a few hours or even overnight at three major American airports, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (Concourse B at Gate B16), Philadelphia International Airport (Terminal A-B Link), Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (Terminal D at D23).
So what do you get in your compact airport sleep suite?
Each suite is equipped with a daybed sofa, pillows, and fresh blankets. A sound-masking system in each suite neutralizes noise, and a unique “napware” audio program helps deliver a refreshing “power nap.”
Each room has a high-definition television with access to DIRECTV, the Internet, and the Airport’s flight-tracking system. The rooms also can serve as workstations for busy travelers. “With a simple click on the remote control, the television converts to a computer with access to the Internet and the Airport’s flight-tracking system,” said Daniel Solomon, Managing Member of Minute Suites, LLC. “A desk, phone, and office chair provide guests with a functional workstation. Laptop users can connect to the Internet using Airport Wi-Fi or a direct connection port within the suite.”
These private suites are both ideal for reducing the pain of badly matched connecting flights as well as giving travelers the opportunity to nap in the case of a delay.
