My favourite routing from the UK to Hawaii is via Vancouver and I am excited to try the new SuperJumbo A380 which British Airways is now flying into Vancouver from Heathrow.
Why do I like this routing?
Vancouver airport is small, clean and has lovely views over the mountains and makes a lovely stopover. You can also combo a ski-sun holiday by popping up to Whistler on your Vancouver stopover. Air Canada is your other option when choosing to fly over to Hawaii via Vancouver but their first/club options are no match for the offering on British Airways.
British Airways now uses their latest aircraft to reach Vancouver (A380) and Toronto, Montreal and Calgary which are served by the 787 Dreamliner.
British Airways has 42 Dreamliners on order, one of which will be used on the exciting new London Heathrow to Silicon Valley routing.
