If you want to be one of the first people to fly on the British Airways B787-9 Dreamliner on First then you will need to book a flight from LHR to Delhi on 25th October 2015.
BA’s B787-9 will be fitted with its new First cabin, making it the first European airline to install first class on a Dreamliner.
There will be only eight seats in first class, compared to the 14 fitted on other BA long-haul aircraft. Each seat will include new storage areas – a new ottoman next to the adjustable footstool; the personal suiter for jackets and coats is now accessible without having to leave the seat; and a new locker at eye-level for smaller items. A mirror has been fitted to the inside of the locker door. An IFE handset, much like a smartphone will allow passengers to watch one item on the handset itself and another on the 23-inch screen.
British Airways has 42 Dreamliners on order, one of which will be used on the exciting new London Heathrow to Silicon Valley routing.
