Book A Stay

The Cape in Cabo San Lucas is a luxury boutique hotel that embraces deep luxury, styled by the contemporary lines of Mexico City’s visionary architect, Javier Sanchez, and warm designs by Arquitectura de Interiores’ Marisabel Gomez Vazquez.

Location

Located in possibly the best position on the Baja California Sur Peninsula, the resort is situated along the surfer’s paradise, Monuments Beach. The property overlooks El Arco and the Bahía San Lucas horizon so that you have a full-on front view of Los Arcos.

Style & Character

The ‘wow’ factor is found throughout, from the beautiful open lobby with deep black concrete ceilings, which are suspended above a life-size whale sculpture made from salvaged driftwood to the sunken bar and seating areas, all overlooking the two swimming pools and across the beach. Art is strategically positioned throughout the hotel, between the eclectic and comfortable furniture and the backdrop of uninterrupted sea views. Even the pools are jaw-dropping. One has a swim-up bar and comfortable cabanas, and the other is built within a natural rock formation on the property.

Rooms

Well-appointed rooms are contemporary, and sleek with a hint of Asian. All offer the same stunning views of the sea and Los Arcos. Rooms at the corner of the building, ending in -01, offer the most stunning views.

A free-standing copper bathtub merges the bedroom with the bathroom, the shower area is huge, and leave your terrace door open at night to be soothed to sleep with the sound of the waves crashing below.

Service & Facilities

The rooftop terrace is the “in” place to be in the evenings. Sitting six storeys up and being the only rooftop lounge in Cabo, it offers views of both the city and the sea and attracts a good-looking, smartly dressed crowd, for cocktails and music and the best view.

The restaurant Manta, run by superstar chef Enrique Olvera, is also a must proffering the freshest, most delicious, inventive take on Mexican specialties.

Conclusion

The hotel says, “Imagine a side of Los Cabos you never knew existed. Where the soul willingly surrenders to el sol on the shores of San Lucas. Where a singular beachfront retreat commands a contour of the cape overlooking El Arco and the Bahía San Lucas horizon, unique to Cabo. From the sleek poolside terrace to the Roof Top, it’s a place to revel in the heat of the moment.”

I couldn’t have put it better myself, surrender to spending a week poolside and go now before it’s “discovered”!
