Some of the most popular articles on Luxury Travel Diary are our Airport Lounge articles. I suppose my readers are far more likely to travel through Heathrow and to be interested in British Airways Galleries Club Lounge in Terminal 5 than to stay at the Aman or the Cipriani in Venice.
If you travel to Japan, JAL has opened their refurbished airport lounge at Osaka Kansai near gate 37 at Kansai International Airport in Osaka. You can gain entrance to this lounge if you travel business class, and economy booking class Y.
The lounge has been redesigned in “modern Japanese style”. Improved amenities include two massage chairs, electric locks in the new baggage storage space, more power outlets around each seat, a larger ladies washroom, and a larger screen for flight information. You will also have access to a smoking room with seating.
There is a larger buffet corner with a salad bar, Halal dishes, curry. (photo from JAL)
