Officially launched on 5 June 2015, the new light, airy, and spacious Plaza Premium Lounge in the departures of Heathrow Terminal 4. This lounge is open to all passengers, regardless of their airline or class of travel. This complements the soon-to-be-open Aspire Airport Lounge in Terminal 5 as both give access to Credit Card affiliate lounge pass schemes like Priority Pass. We have also reviewed the three British Airways airport lounges in Terminal 5.

The stylish and contemporary Plaza Premium lounge is part of the company’s $40 million USD global expansion plan and is its third lounge in London Heathrow. Natural light floods through the floor-to-ceiling windows and skylight, making it a relaxing place to rest or work.

The black and white tiled kitchen area has a live cooking station, and the buffet is at the center of the lounge, offering a selection of Asian and European-inspired dishes. Plaza Premium Lounge is the only lounge in the terminal offering halal-prepared food. There are productivity pods for those looking for peace and quiet to work, Skype family and friends, or watch a film on their tablet. A separate bar area, elegantly designed with hues of yellow and grey, acts as the lounge’s social hub.
