Although it’s hard to review a ship that hasn’t yet set sail, the Seven Seas Explorer deserves to be featured on luxury travel diary as it will undoubtedly be the most luxurious ship of this size that you can book onto. This 56,000 ton ship has the highest ratio of space to passengers in the history of cruising with Regent Cruises promising to set a new standard in luxury cruising. The Seven Seas Explorer will be an all-suite vessel and, at $450 million, the most expensive luxury ship ever built.

This 750-passenger ship will debut with a Mediterranean cruise after its launch in the glamorous Monaco. The Seven Seas Explorer will then cruise for 14 nights from Monte Carlo to Venice on July 20, 2016. Following this, there will be sailings which include the destinations Barcelona, Ibiza, St. Tropez, Venice, Istanbul, Alexandria (Egypt) and Jerusalem.

In the Autumn, the Seven Seas Explorer will cruise across the Atlantic to launch two round trip voyages from Miami including 14-night and 10-night roundtrip sailings to the Caribbean. The opulent vessel will then travel on a one-way 16-night voyage from Miami to Los Angeles that will include a transit of the Panama Canal.
