PUSH Mind and Body is situated at Burgate Manor Farm in the heart of the New Forest, surrounded by idillic countryside packed with wildlife including the famous New Forest wild wandering ponies. The farm has over 200 acres of fields to get fit in, as well as plenty of undercover exercise areas in case the typical British weather gets in the way! The Granary, which sits at the heart of the Retreat, is a massive renovated barn that has a very large sitting, dining and kitchen area surrounding by warm and cosy bedrooms. You can choose between a sole occupancy bedroom or share with another like-minded individual for the duration of your re-boot. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom or bathroom next door. Included in the price of your stay are all your meals and snacks as well as all your training, coaching and guidance.
There’s no getting away from it, PUSH is an exercise retreat with high-intensity-style training to give you the results that you want quickly, in fitness, health and weight-loss. Your daily routine starts at 6:45 am for a special hot water detox juice followed by a 7:15 am work out with a Personal Trainer and then it’s time for a nutritious but delicious breakfast. Most of your day is spent training, stretching, doing circuits and going on local hikes interspersed with calorie-counted, nutritionally packed meals and snacks. In the evening experts teach you about mindfulness – the art of helping you to find your calm and focus, whilst realising your intentions; nutrition and coaching – giving you clarity and a set of realistic goals for the future. At the end of the week you will take away personalised nutrition and fitness plans that you can fit into your busy lifestyle. A highlight, after all your very hard work, is Treatment Night on the last night of the week (Thursday) where beauty therapists treat you to much-needed massages, facials, manis, pedis, and even a fake tan ready to send you back into the rat race feeling and looking good both on the inside and out.
