Confession: I’m not a fan of Victoria’s Secret. Whenever I approach their store on New Bond Street I feel an overwhelming need to cross the road – and New Bond St is a busy road!
I appreciate Victoria Secret has a legion of teenage fans hooked on their catwalk shows. Shows featuring the latest pop sensation serenading that weeks trending model, draped in lingerie bearing little resemblance to anything the company sells.
I just don’t get it. No doubt I’m just too old to understand. I do however admire the brand Roy Raymond’s built and the genius of his marketing team. That marketing team has just started to promote the Victoria Secret’s S/S’15 designer collection – like normal Victoria Secret just more expensive. I’ve picked out a few pieces for you to take a look at.
