Park Hyatt hotels are always elegant and stylish and I go out of my way to seek them out when I stay in a European City. I will be heading to the wonderful Park Hyatt Zurich in March, I have stayed at the Park Hyatt Hamburg, Paris and Milan and all offer unique and stunning architecture, sophisticated bars, excellent restuurants and they always seem to be located perfectly in the centre of town. I just find their hotels so incredibly chic that they merit the best of my designer clothes to fit with the sophisticated decor!
The Park Hyatt Vienna is no exception. It occupies a 100-year-old listed building that formerly served as the headquarters of a Bank. The hotel is located within Vienna’s First District, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It also sits within the heart of the most exclusive shopping district in Vienna, just steps away from the celebrated fashion houses of Prada, Louis Vuitton and Emporio Armani and many more, as well as the boutiques of Kohlmarkt. Therefore our hotel in Vienna, Austria offers easy walking distance to the city’s most important sights, historic monuments and museums.
Featuring 143 spacious guestrooms, including 35 suites, Park Hyatt Vienna’s guestrooms are amongst the largest in the city, ranging in size from 35 sq m to 170 sq m, brilliantly combining contemporary style with local Viennese accents.
Guests can enjoy European regional cuisine at the historically restored hotel restaurant The Bank, featuring an open plan kitchen and serving locally sourced products from small villages around Vienna. For cigar connoisseurs, the Living Room offers an authentic space to enjoy a cigar in Vienna as guests can experience a beautiful restored wood paneled lounge. A fine range of Viennese specialty coffees, champagne and innovative cocktails are offered in the light filled Lounge, adjacent to the lobby of our hotel in Vienna. Pearl bar presents cocktails from around the world, combined with traditional Viennese snacks on sharing plates.
For those looking for rest and rejuvenation, guests can retreat into the tranquil sanctuary of Arany Spa and indulge in a selection of exclusive and relaxing body treatments and facials. Moreover, the luxury hotel hosts an extensive state-of-the-art fitness centre and guests can swim in the 15m pool located in the former vault of the bank.
I will be revisiting in February with new photos and a personalised view of this “must visit” hotel. In the meantime you can take a video walk through tour of the hotel with Moiree Fashion Vienna.
