Did you know that the Queen has very small hands? No? Neither did I, but the exquisite glove makers Cornelia James have a special glovemaker, Piera Cagner, who has the same sized hands as the Queen and is consequently used to mould and craft perfect gloves for her majesty.
It’s not just the Queen’s, all Cornelia James’ gloves are perfectly formed and handmade in a converted cow shed in East Sussex. They go on to be featured in countless magazine such as Vogue and worn by stars like Rihanna. You can pick up a pair of the Queen’s gloves for £35, or you can choose a more ornate and intricate pair like my favourite – Phoebe, for nearly £100. Whichever you choose they are made with love, look gorgeous and fit perfectly.
Genevieve, Cornelia’s 55 year old daughter explains that “Gloves can transform you instantly from a shop girl to a lady”. I feel like a princess in mine, they’ll defiantly be in the suitcase for my next trip.
