The idea may be plane bonkers or superbly fun, whichever way you look at it, the launch of six Hello Kitty Jets by Taiwanese airline Eva is now the cutest way to fly.
The Sanrio Family Hand in hand Jet, Magic Jet, Apple Jet, Global Jet, Hello Kitty Happy Music Time, and Speed Puff Jet will make flying an enjoyable and memorable experience. Launched in September 2013, Eva Air has flown three Hello Kitty flights per week between Taipei and Los Angeles.
To celebrate the Kello Kitty’s 40th birthday, the airline will begin operating its Hello Kitty plane between Paris and Taipei in the Autumn.
Hello Kitty can be found on more than 100 different items in the aircraft cabin, including headrest covers, paper napkins, paper cups, cutlery, infant feeding bottles, rice cookies, and toiletries.
Flight attendants’ uniforms include a pink Hello Kitty foodservice apron with whiskers!
Premium Class passengers can look forward to Hello Kitty-inspired Foie gras and pink mousse cake while children’s meals are served in Chef Hello Kitty boxes and contain bowtie-shaped containers. Many of the tableware items bear images of the cute feline character.
From October 29, three Hello Kitty flights per week will be flying between Taipei and Paris, enabling us Europeans to get a slice of the action. Prices start at €802 EUR, and you can book below.
